DESCRIPTION:Democratic afternoon: How do we make democracy more accessible to ethnic minority Danes?\n  \nIn Denmark\, we pride ourselves on our high voter turnout. Yet we see a clear democratic imbalance in voter turnout: In the last municipal elections\, only 29% of ethnic minority Danes voted – a sign that our democracy is far from being inclusive and accessible to all.  \nThis afternoon we ask the question: How can we work together to create a democracy that feels relevant and representative for everyone – and where all voices are heard and weighted equally? \nThe conversation has only become more urgent in 2025\, where the rhetoric about minority ethnic Danes has become harsher\, and proposals to restrict the right to vote are back in the debate.
