The Better Psychiatry Association invites you to a listening session. How do we create better psychiatry for people living with mental illness and their families? One step is to listen to those who are in the middle of reality every day.
That’s why Better Psychiatry Copenhagen invites you to a political listening session where municipal politicians can hear personal stories from relatives and experience their perspectives first-hand.
As a member of Better Psychiatry, you have the opportunity to participate alongside politicians and experience how relatives’ experiences are put at the center. The evening will focus on everything from emergency care to the experiences of both good and not-so-good care homes and what it really means when a municipality is “relative-friendly”.
The listening session is not a classic debate where everyone talks at each other. On the contrary, it is a space where politicians must first and foremost listen to those who face the reality of psychiatry every single day.
The event is free and open to everyone who is passionate about better psychiatry: relatives, professionals, people with mental illness and of course the politicians running for office.
Join us and help give psychiatry a stronger voice.
