Want to help transform your neighborhood?
What change do you want to help create in the Rentemesterkvarteret? How about an energy community where everyone on the street joins forces to install solar panels and thus reduce their energy costs while getting greener energy? How about a monthly or weekly day where Rentemestervej is shut down for free street play?
If you have participated or followed the communal meals, building days or planting days with RENTEN, or are just curious about what else the RENTEN project is about, then come and join the open meeting on June 2 at 16-17.00 at Demokrati Garage. Here you can contribute with ideas and help create future initiatives.

We are already working on the following initiatives, which you can hear more about at the meeting:
🌱 Planteservicen, where neighbors and stakeholders increase biodiversity and strengthen the community on the street
🍲 Fællesspisninger, where we cook for communal meals in the neighborhood
🌳 Lommeparken, where we create a temporary rental space and green space on Møntmestervej 25
🚦 Trafikgruppen, which works with traffic calming efforts on the road

RENTEN Transition Nordvest is a dream to strengthen the neighborhood community around Rentemestervej and create a vibrant, healthy and green street for everyone. Through practical actions together, we as neighbors and actors on the street can help each other reduce pressure on the planet and increase our well-being. RENTEN, named after Rentemestervej, is inspired by the Transition movement in the UK, which is based on the idea that communities can work towards a socially just future with lower carbon emissions, resilient communities, more active participation and a caring culture focused on supporting each other.
