Johanne is a junior consultant at We Do Democracy. In her work she contributes with, among other things a holistic analytical framework for local democracy and to strengthen locally rooted processes through democratic co-creation, facilitation and strong target group communication. Hun works to create space for diverse participation and agency in communities – especially across cultural differences.

In We Do Democracy, Johanne is affiliated with the Network for Democratic Representation, Democracy Fitness and the transition project Renten, where she helps support local change and participation in the Northwest.

Johanne has just completed her bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Aarhus University. Here she has dealt with cultural bridging, the transformative potential of communities and social couragemovements. From her education, she has experience with qualitative analysis, method design and facilitation that supports her work in developing inclusive communities of action.

Johanne is particularly passionate about interpersonal skills and curious about the development ofalternative approaches to social change.
