Klara is a consultant at We Do Democracy, where she is both a project worker and project manager on citizen gatherings and deliberative processes. She is the project manager of We Do Democracy’s first mixed gathering of civil society, politicians and citizens in Vejle Municipality. She is a strong facilitator and concerned with creating process designs that give ownership to the participants.
From her involvement in volunteer communities, Klara has a strong interest and professional profile in creating actionable political communities. She is concerned with how to organize communities that make it easy and fun to create change. Among other things, she has worked on developing the RENTEN Transition Nordvest project, a green neighborhood project in Copenhagen Northwest.
Klara drives the data collection from We Do Democracy’s deliberative processes and evaluations, and conducts our draws of representative citizen groups.
Klara comes from Physical Geography at the University of Copenhagen and has a special focus on the interactions between society and our natural environment. She is passionate about a more sustainable development of both our democracy and use of natural systems, and about deliberative democracy as a core tool in that development.
