Louisa is an intern at We Do Democracy, where she works on the Copenhagen Climate Parliament and the Transition Northwest project.

Louisa has an interdisciplinary background in sociology, political science and climate change from The University of Edinburgh and the University of Copenhagen. She is particularly interested in the connection between social and economic inequality and the environmental and climate crisis and is passionate about active, diverse participation in the green transition, including through deliberative democratic processes.

Louisa has a passion for creating social change. She has experience with facilitation processes from workshops and campaigns she has organized through volunteer engagement in grassroots movements and the NGO world. Among other things, she has coordinated a collaboration between local groups across the country that engage in the resistance against fossil fuel infrastructure projects and done international solidarity work with activists in Ghana.
