Sarah is a consultant at We Do Democracy, where she contributes to projects with deliberative processes and democratic consulting.
Sarah has previously been vice principal at Krogerup Højskole and has experience with organizational management, change management and facilitation. From her work in boards and activist movements, she has experience with strategic work in relation to political campaigns, organizational development and member involvement in associations and voluntary communities. Sarah is grounded in the field of education on climate change, biodiversity and nature. The common thread in Sarah’s teaching is the exploration of meaningful life within planetary boundaries.
Sarah takes leadership in change processes with an eye for context and local anchoring. Through her involvement in the green transition of society, she has extensive knowledge of processes that involve many actors and interests. Sarah has especially worked with building communities of action and engaging young people. She has experience both as a speaker and facilitator – in both cases driven by a desire to give individuals the opportunity and responsibility to contribute to a larger societal transformation.
Sarah is a board member of Foreningen Andelsgaarde and Forlaget Økotopia. She is co-founder of the Regenerative Agriculture School in the Association for Regenerative Agriculture, where she is still affiliated as a teacher. Sarah has previously been a board member of the Climate Movement and has also contributed with advice in civil society and charity organizations, including as an advisory board member in both Real Denmark’s anniversary initiative Our Place (2024-2026), FLOR – the youth movement in the Danish Society for Nature Conservation (2024-2025) and the Jordvirke project in the Regenerative Agriculture Association (2025-).
Sarah’s educational background is in agricultural economics and climate change at the University of Copenhagen, where she has had a special focus on value perceptions and complex systems in relation to land use. Sarah is interested in how deliberative democracy as a method can pave the way for a sustainable development and management of our society.
