Stine is an intern at We Do Democracy, where she contributes to a variety of projects.
She studies International Relations at Aalborg University with a special interest in sustainability and the EU.
Stine holds a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen, where she focused on deliberative democracy in her bachelor and internship thesis.
She has previously been an intern at SoCentral, a major player in deliberative democracy and citizen panels in Norway.
Furthermore, she has been involved in several voluntary student organizations working to promote sustainability and political participation among students.

Stine’s academic work has centered on how deliberative democracy and citizen panels can complement representative democracy and support environmental policy-making processes.
She is particularly interested in how deliberative democracy can be applied at municipal, national and international levels to strengthen democratic development and promote sustainability.
