G1000 invites you from d. March 20 for two days of concrete and actionable training for anyone who wants to integrate deliberative processes into their own organizations. The training is based on experiences from the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark.
Among the speakers is We Do Democracy’s Zakia Elvang, who, with her extensive experience in deliberation, citizen consultations and assemblies, will provide insight into how these tools can be used to make decision-making processes more inclusive, citizen-centered and sustainable in the Danish context.
With this training course, practitioners gain insight into the professional knowledge that supports the implementation of deliberative processes, but also concrete tools on how to involve citizens, employees or organizations in decision-making processes in a way that ensures engagement and greater legitimacy of these decisions.
The training is based on diverse activities and perspectives that together provide practitioners with the knowledge they need to innovate their own organizational, local, regional or national democratic processes. In other words, a learning-rich training process with a broad outlook.
