Free communal dining and guided dream tour of the Rentemesterkvarteret
Language: The event will be held in both Danish and English
We invite all neighbors, professionals, enthusiasts and the curious to both events or one of them.
Are you curious about how to strengthen local communities and what a just, green transition can look like at street level?
Join us for a free potluck with neighbors, enthusiasts and newcomers.
The event will include free communal dining and a guided dream journey imagining the transition of Rentemestervej with Rob Hopkins, co-founder of the Transition Network, who will share experiences of transition streets from around the world.
The evening event is open to everyone, whether you are already involved or curious locals living elsewhere.
Rob Hopkins is co-founder of Transition Network and Transition Town Totnes, author of several books including “The Transition Handbook” and most recently “From What Is to What If: Unleashing the power of imagination to create the future we want”.
The scale and pace required for a timely transition looks daunting.
At times it seems that the only consensus in our society is that the future is getting worse.
Yet our own history is full of evidence of turning points where cultures change quickly, dramatically and unexpectedly – for the better.
Transition movement co-founder Rob Hopkins has seen it happen first-hand around the world and in his own town of Totnes in England, where the community is becoming its own housing developer, energy company, business incubator and local food network – with cascading benefits for the community that go far beyond the projects themselves.
