Join us for an afternoon of imagining a green future together with British activist and author Rob Hopkins

In cities, neighborhoods and roads across Denmark, people are coming together to transform them into places for sustainable living.
Are you curious about how to strengthen local communities and what a just, green transition can look like at street level?

We dive into the practices needed to make that transition with Rob Hopkins.
He is the co-founder and face of the Transition movement and an expert in taking action and bringing communities together to create change. Read more about Rob here

14 – 16: Case workshop on RENTEN, where we prepare input for the local transformation project in the Northwest.
RENTEN’s vision is a neighborhood transformation based on Rentemestervej, where we live, work and play in ways that meet everyone’s needs while staying within planetary boundaries.
Rentemestervej is 2.4 kilometers long, located in one of Copenhagen’s most diverse areas Northwest – both in terms of who lives here, business and living.

RENTEN was started by a handful of people around the Democracy Garage because we want to act in and with our neighborhood.
We want to make our neighborhood a place where we live, work and live in ways that meet everyone’s needs while staying within planetary boundaries.

Rob Hopkins is co-founder of Transition Network and Transition Town Totnes, author of several books including The Transition Handbook, From What Is to What If and Ministry of Imagination.

Transition movement co-founder Rob Hopkins has seen first-hand local green and radical transformations and new forms of democratic leadership developing locally across the world and in his own home town of Totnes, England.
