Democracy Drinks #2 2024

Join us at Democracy Drinks, where the democracy sector comes together to share insights and get things moving. A sector across systemic and everyday democracy where experts, decision-makers, professionals and activists share the latest democracy research, studies, strategies, projects, legislation and ideas.

Democracy Drinks is a regular occasion for open, impartial and inspiring presentations and conversations about democracy, its evolution, new and old formats. The event consists of various short presentations lasting 7 minutes.

During the event, time is also set aside for knowledge sharing and socializing.

The event is free of charge and drinks are available for purchase. It takes place from 16.30-18.00 in the Democracy Garage.

Democracy Drinks is hosted by We Do Democracy. We are very open to input and ideas for interesting speakers.

🌱 Jesper Olsen, Chairman of Transparency International Denmark and External Associate Professor and Head of Subject (Public Law), University of Copenhagen, Department of Political Science.

🌱 Alexander Holm, Biologist specializing in nature conservation & communication. Podcast host, speaker, consultant and geek.

🌱 Zoé Elkær Nicot, Founder of European Debate Initiative and board member of New Europe & SAGA. She will talk about the importance of having a democratic focus in European politics.

🌱 Jakob Jespersen, author of the book Life Democracy – A Voice for the Future, the World and Life on Earth

🌱 Christoffer Østergaard, founder of Grønne Lys
