Masterclass in Democracy Fitness

Purpose

The Masterclass in Democracy Fitness will give you a basic understanding of democratic fitness as a concept, learning style and method. After the Masterclass you are a democracy fitness trainer. In the masterclass we mix participation in different training sessions, facilitating training, observation and ongoing feedback and reflections from trainers among other masterclass participants.

What can you expect from the Masterclass in Democracy Fitness:

• Introduction to the full concept – from scripts, tools, room and communication
• Introduction to all 10 democracy muscles and the terminology
• An active, fun, and social method that strengthens people’s ability to participate in democracy.
• Facilitation that makes democracy understandable and accessible – even when it is difficult.
• A method that builds democratic confidence
• A way to connect democracy with everyday life and everyday democracy.
• Good understanding of the democratic understanding and values behind democracy fitness
• Introduction to the democracy fitness trainer role and mindset
• Facili-training methods you need as a Democracy Fitness trainer.

This masterclass provides practical strategies to enhance your facilitation skills while fostering deeper democratic engagement in any setting.
